The characters are split in categories.(Goku's family,Vegeta's famlily, The kai's, The namekian's, and The trio, bibidi,babidi,buu or in other words, the majins!
Goku's family
Goku: The main character of dragonballz. He was sent to earth to destroy it but he hit his head hard and forgot about his main objective. He is also the first to become a super saiyan in all forms[except ssj2] and therefor, being a saiyan! He has 2 sons, Gohan and Goten and he is married to Chi-chi. At the end of dragonballgt, he reach's the age of 38, where he is never seen again!
Gohan: Goku's first son. He is a half-saiyan half-human with incredible hidin powers. Imagine. At the age of 6, a power level of 1307! Later in dragonballz, he travels to namek and even later has many more journey's! He is he first to obtain supersaiyan 2 and that's about it!
Goten: Goku's second son and the youngest ever to turn supersaiyan! What's funny is, he became a supersaiyan before learning to fly! Well, his best friend is Trunks and he isn't too much of a big character but since he's the youngest supersaiyan ever, that's that!
Chi-chi: Goku's wife and the strongest character of dragonballz!(HAHAHA) She mostly prefers to study Gohan but gives up on Goten and well that's just her!
Goku's daughter in law- Videl: Gohan marries videl right after the majin buu saga and then she become's part of the family. If you rearange the letter's of her name, it spells devil just like her father.
Goku's brother in law- Hercule A.K.A Mr.Satan:He is the strongest non-flying energy using human. But a liar too! He lies about the cell games saying that he won and the majin buu saga also, but he didn't.
Raditz: Goku's evil brother! He comes to earth to tell Zgoku to change back to his evil self[kill 100 humans] but it doesn't work. Goku later sacrifice's himself to kill him.
Vegeta's family
Vegeta:He comes to earth to destroy it but run's in to Goku. So he become's his rival. After he lose's the battle, he return's and goes to namek to get the dragonballs there. After the whole saga, he is forces to live on earth and eventually, he adaptes to it. He marrie's bulma and has a son called Trunks.[bra in gt]
Bulma: Bulma is vegeta's wife and a good one to except vegeta doesn't ever admit that she love's him but she really does. Anyways, she is the brain's of dbz, and is almost seen in every episode.
Future Trunks: From the future, he came to warn about the arrival of the androids and give the cure for Goku's heart disease but in the process he has to kill Frieza and Kingcold.He returns to his time then comes back later to see how it turned out. But he stays and fight's along side of Goku t'ill the cell games. After the cell games, he return's to his time killing the androids once and for all!
Trunks: He is much different from Future Trunks. Anyways, he's the one with all the evil scheme's like get in the adult world martial art competions.But when he grows up, he get's the attitude of the Tuture Trunks. His best friend is Trunks and Vegeta's his father.
Androids
Android 16: The only one to fight along side of the heroe's. Maybe he was programed to destroy Goku, but he didn't have the chance when he ran in to
Cell.His head was half-destroyed but he lived. He sacrifices his life to try and kill cell in the cell games but his internal bomb was removed and cell blasted him to pieces and laters steps on his head and that's his end. He is fully android unlike the other 2.
Android 17: This fighting machine doesn't kill anyone but proves to be superior. But later is absorbed by cell. After the cell games, he returns to go and live in a forest somewhere.
Android 18: Android 17's sister. She doesn't kill anyone as well but get's absorbed too. Sh is stronger than android 17. After the cell games, she marries Krillin and gets a child called maron.
Android 19: This android was built by dr.gero to help him transplant his brain in an android body. Vegeta creams him in a "small" battle.
Android 20(dr.gero): The creator for all of the androids. He build these machines to seek revenge on Goku for destroying the red ribon army.He is later killed by his own creations.
Cell: The ultimate creation. He was build to absorb the androids to reach perfection. Trunks had already killed the androids in his time so he killed Trunks and went to the past to find the androids. It was an ease thanks to Vegeta who let him absorb the android(18). After, He creates the Cell games, a fighting tournement and is killed by gohan with his own game.
Namekians
Nail: The strongest namek fighter on his planet t'ill Piccolo arrived. He takes on frieza but's get's beaten badly and near of death. He fuses with Piccolo and that's the end of him.
Dende: Guru's 103rd son. He is the one that helps the warrior's fight frieza. He has the power to heal people. Later he become's the new earth guardian after "New Piccolo" was reborn.
Guru: The eldest namek. He is the one that created the namek dragonballs. He also gives special powers to dende,gohan and krillin. After his death he let's elder muuri become the new elder.
Piccolo: He is the evil side of kami-sama but eventualy becomes good. He trains Gohan and gives him a hard time! He also is Goku's rival. Well, later in the cell saga, he is rebornm with kami-sama.
Kami-sama: He was sent to earth as a boy to create dragonballs on earth. But he had to earn his rights to become guardian of earth. He past all the tests except he had evil inside of him. SO he divided himself into 2 Good and bad, and Piccolo Damaio was born. He fought Goku but lost and at his deatch. He spit a egg containing, Piccolo. Kami-sama becomes the guardian of earth and retires in the cell saga. Well thats him and the nameks!
cell
Majin buu
He was created 1,000,000 years ago by bibidi, an evil wizard. He went on destroying lifes. He was placed in a sphere by bibidi because his powers where too dangerous to have around you could say! Later, a lot later, Buu was hatched from gathering energy from fighters as goku and vegeta. The energy got him hatched from his sphere! First he killed darbura, then he set off to find power. He befriended Hercule. When some evil men shot hercule, buu killed the men then let out steam and a new buu was born!( the picture on top)It was old buu! A fight went on between these 2 and old buu had won! He absorbed majin buu and became " new buu"
He sensed high powers so he went to kami's lookout, absorbed piccolo, then broke in the time chamber and found gotenks who had just went to ssj3! A fight went on. Buu won and absorbed gotenks. He fought gohan for a while then absorbed him. After, vegeta got his life back( he tried to kill buu by sacrificing himself) and found goku. They used the portora earings old kai had given them and becamed vegetto(vegito) A short fight went on and vegetto had loost by over confidence and buu had absorbed goku and vegeta.(vegetto)
Buu then transformed to kid buu,. short and pink.
Vegeta and goku where released and the potora earings broke which undid the fusion. Goku then fought buu and evolved too ssj3. A long fight when on. When goku reached alot of energy restored and he blasted buu to oblivion. Buu is pink at first and a bit overweighted then the old buu form is gray..
More fighter's
Krillin: Goku's best friend. He is also are favorite monk! He travels everywhere, namek and more and is trained by the great master rochie! After the cell games, he marries android 18 and has a daughter called maron named after his previous girlfriend.
Master rochie: The great master rochie! He trains Goku and Krillin. Later in dragonballz, he becomes an old washed up man reading dirty comics with a sea turtle on an island! But he is still very powerful regardless of his age.
Tien and chaotzu: The death duo. Mess with one of them and the other will get angry. Tien first adopded chaotzu in dragonball and he met goku in the world tournement. They are both an unknown race. But tien is pretty much classified as a human, and the strongest one.
Baba: Master rochie sister! She is a witch and a good one too. She usually comes during a saga to look what's happening when the tv's out! She is the only human to never die in dragonballz.
Kai's
King kai: The kai you see the most and love. He trains many people but goku's his best student. He lives on a planet with gregory[a criket with tons of speed] and bubbles[an ape]. His planet get's destroyed during the cell games. After he lives on grant kai's planet somewhere for the rest of dbz!
South kai: He is the tall and pink faced kai. He loves nagging others about his fighters.
East kai: The girl kai? Well, she loves to race people and loves the challenge. Unfortunatly she loses to grant kai when she challenged Goku, but neither of them won!
West kai: The smaller kai of the 4. He loves to brag about his warriors and especially about pikon. He is lucky since, he made a deal with king kai that he would give his planet if pikon lost, but both, pikon and goku hadn't won, since they broke the rules.
Grant kai: The ruler of the 4 kai's. He is the "old" looking guy and he really is! He arranges all the tournements in heaven and gives people, a day of life.(like Goku)
Supreme kai: The most supreme kai. He has a mohawk and is easy to tell it's him. He is pretty much
all purple. He it the one who warns our heroe's about majin buu and babidi. His best student is Kibito. Kibito is the tall pink faced guy who doesn't talk much. Not much is known about him though!
Evil beings
Bibidi: 1,000,000 years before dragonballz, he created majin buu with pure evil magic. He is never seen in dragon ball z but told alot of. Majin buu's power was too much to control so he sealed him in a ball and sent him somewhere in the universe, never to be seen again. But unfortunatly he had a son;
Babidi: Bibidi's son. 50 years before dbz, he searched for majin buu. After he ad found it, he needed energy so he went back too space. Using his evil magic, he controled darbura,the demon king,to be his slave along wth others and 50 years had passed. They went back too earth but that's when trouble came. Babidi dies from majin buu, his father's own creation. Darbura is eaten whole
by majin buu and killed.
